General Questions

Where can I find your Attendance & Booking Policy?
You can find my Attendance & Booking Policy under the “How to Book” section. There, you can review the policy and find the scenario that best fits your situation.

What is your pricing structure?
Please refer to the price guide under “Services”, as prices are subject to change at any time. Only contracted rates are honored.

Do you charge for travel?
Yes, a round-trip fee applies for travel to and from Catawba, NC. Please refer to the Price Guide to find the scenario that best fits your needs. If you don’t see your specific situation listed or have questions about other travel accommodations, feel free to email me.

Health & Safety

Can I bring someone with me to my in-studio appointment?
For health, quality of service, and liability reasons, children are not allowed—no exceptions. However, if you’d like to bring one adult guest, please notify me in advance so I can make the necessary arrangements.

How do you ensure sanitation and hygiene?
I take great care in maintaining sanitation and hygiene:

  • All surfaces are cleaned with medical-grade disinfectants before each session.
  • I use disposable applicators when necessary.
  • Brushes are deep-cleaned and disinfected between clients to ensure a hygienic experience.

What if I have allergies or sensitive skin?
Please inform me of any allergies or sensitivities before your appointment. I’m happy to adjust my products and services to accommodate your needs.

Booking & Payments

Are retainers required?
Yes, a 50% non-refundable retainer is required for ALL services and travel fees. Payment details will be provided upon booking, and the retainer must be paid within 24 hours of receiving the contract to secure your requested date and time. The retainer will be applied toward your service total.

Note: If the client cancels, the retainer will serve as the cancellation fee.

If I send a retainer for a group booking and one or more people decide not to proceed, will I get my retainer back?
No, retainers are non-refundable. If someone chooses not to proceed, their retainer will be applied toward their cancellation fee.

How far in advance should I book an appointment?
For general events, I recommend booking at least 1-2 months in advance. For bridal parties, booking at least 6 months before the wedding is ideal, as weekends are my busiest days!

What is the best way to contact you?
Email is the most efficient way to reach me. If needed, we can schedule a phone call appointment. Please refrain from calling randomly, as I may be unable to answer.

Bridal Makeup Questions

Do you offer hair services?
No, I currently only provide makeup services.

Do I need to schedule a trial before my wedding?
Yes, a wedding day preview is highly recommended. This is a collaborative session where we create and refine your perfect wedding-day look. Scheduling your preview 1-3 months before the wedding ensures we have plenty of time to finalize details.

Do I have to provide you with a vendor meal?
A vendor meal is not required, but would be greatly appreciated if I am working for more than five hours without breaks.

What if I want to add more people to my bridal party after booking?
Additional services may be added later, but once the contract is signed, I cannot guarantee availability due to my schedule.

Can you do makeup for my bridal party?
Absolutely! I provide makeup services for all wedding roles, including bridesmaids, moms, and other special guests—as long as we have a realistic start and end time that aligns with the service durations listed. For larger bridal parties, I highly recommend hiring an additional artist to keep the process smooth and efficient.

Do I need to provide pictures or references for my makeup?
If you haven’t booked a trial, please bring 2-3 reference photos that reflect the look you envision. We’ll go over them during your preview or appointment to ensure we’re on the same page.

Logistics & Preparation

What do I need to do to prepare for my appointment?

  • All Clients: Arrive with a clean face and apply only basic skincare (moisturizer and lip balm).
  • Eyebrows: Please ensure they are groomed and cleaned up for the best results.

  • Trust the process!
  • Avoid using your cell phone, eating, or moving frequently during your session.
  • Staying still allows me to focus and ensures the best possible results.
